Food Production Manager / Cook - Back of House
The Acorn is seeking a Production Manager to run our packaged food line.
The Acorn Market was born out of the pandemic, initially as a way to continue to support our network of farms and staff through lock-downs, but also as an extension of our commitment to showcasing the best, locally grown ingredients whenever possible.
We are looking for an individual to prepare, cook, and package orders while overseeing operations, building our customer base and ultimately helping us grow our product line.
The ideal candidate is driven, self-directed, has strong time management skills and keen interest in helping to build a company from the ground up. A solid foundation cooking in a professional kitchen environment is essential, as is exceptional attention to detail. This position is generally self-directed and requires a strong ability to follow recipes, order ingredients, manage customer orders, invoicing and assisting with deliveries, with additional time dedicated to on-boarding new customers and products.
