The Acorn is a Michelin recommended, award-winning, vegetable-forward locavore restaurant and bar located at the heart of Vancouver’s Main St. It is a destination for diners seeking the best and most creative meals made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Carefully crafted dishes from our zero-waste kitchen cater to vegans and gluten free diners while ensuring that even the staunchest meat eaters leave fully satisfied. 

Our zero-waste kitchen ensures that every ingredient is celebrated to its fullest potential - utilizing the stems, skins, pits and scraps from our fruits and vegetables, re-purposing them into the many components that make up our menu. We value the meaningful connections with local organic farmers, foragers and purveyors to the point where 99% of everything you find on your plate (and in some cases the plate itself) was grown, harvested or made in British Columbia and Western Canada.

Opened in May of 2024, Lila is a sustainability focused modern Indian restaurant opened in collaboration with chef and co-founder of Vancouver’s Vij’s and Rangoli restaurants, Meeru Dhalwala. A small and cozy room with an excellent garden patio, Lila was inspired by picnics in BC’s lush rain forest, surrounded by nature’s incredible offerings and sacred treasures. Weaving that inspiration with founders Meeru and Shira’s shared Indian backgrounds, Lila had become a character unto herself that has since learned to walk, dance, and envelop her surroundings.
